Who Am I?
Sam/Erillant
I'm Sam, A mumma bear & bag lover.
I started on my bag making journey when I purchased a hand made bag to use as a nappy bag. Unfortunately, the bag broke within 2 weeks. So I set out to find ways to fix it (and then customise it further to suit me). I stumbled into the world of bag making & realised thanks to my OCD, I had the ability to make gorgeous, high quality bags. I have since won awards for bag making, had my bags selected for display at the Sydney Royal Easter Show Art competition & now also teach bag making on youtube.
Who is Erillant?
Erillant is my alter ego, in some ways she's who I hope to be. She's whimsical, strong and beautiful, inside and out.
Erillant is also my gaming character. She was the name I was assigned many years ago while playing LOTRO (Lord of the rings online), she is an elf hunter from Lindon (I did say I was a closet geek right?). Through the years, even though I stopped playing LOTRO, Erillant stuck with me, she was who my partner knew me as first and is now the main character in my business.
My Main girl
Eimhir
Eimhir is my main girl and the muscle behind my creations. Eimhir is a 1953 Vintage Singer 201 Sewing machine made in Scotland. If for whatever reason, Eimhir is unable to make your creation, my backup machines are a 1950 Singer 201K also from Scotland or a younger Singer 201P from Penrith, Australia. So either way, your bag is lovingly made with a gorgeous vintage machine.
